The concept
Magic & transformation.
A study connecting the visual reference of the hyena men with Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Puck and the transformation of reality become a starting point for exploring generous volumes, layering and geometric silhouettes.
I made the trousers and grey sweater featured in the editorial. The other garments and accessories are part of the styling.

The process
01 / Connections
The artist’s notebook brings together references, associations and initial ideas. Magic and transformation connect the two starting points of the project.
02 / The collection in drawings
The illustrations explore proportions, layers and colour variations. The research moves from collage to a family of silhouettes.
03 / Garment studies
The trousers laid flat and fitted on the body show their volume and how the garment behaves when worn.
